Ingredients:
- Rice Flour-3 cup
- Gram Flour-1 cup
- Asafoetida-1/2 tsp
- jeera powder-1/2 tsp
- red chilly powder-1/2 tsp
- sesame seeds-1/2tsp
- salt-1/2 tsp
- warm water
- oil for deep frying
Preparation:
- In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients with warm water to make a soft dough.
- Add a part of the dough to the murukku seva press.
- Press out in round shape to a paper napkin.
- Heat oil in kadai and slide each murukku from the napkin to your hand and then to tava.
- Deep fry till it becomes golden brown.Take it out from the oil to a napkin to remove the excess oil.
- Remaining dough you can add to the press and repeat the same.You can make 20 murukku.
