achinga payar thoran















Ingredients:
  • 1 handful of lengthy achinga payar
  • turmeric powder-1/2tsp
  • chilly powder-1/2tsp
  • green chilly-1 chopped
  • salt as per taste
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • grated coconut-1 handful
  • oil-2tsp
  • mustard seeds adn curry leaves
Preparation:
  1. Chop the payar to small pieces.
  2. Pour oil,splutter mustards and curry leaves
  3. Add chopped onion,payar,turmeric powder,green chilly, chilly powder,salt and stir well.close with lid and cook for 5 mins .
  4. Add grated coconut and stir well and cook for 5 mins.ur thoran is ready.U dont need to pour water to cook the vegetable.Keep the pan covered with lid ,so that it will cook with that steam.
